“Children are like barometers of our stress levels. What are we doing as adults to regulate ourselves so that our children can mirror that calm energy?”

With over 10 years of experience working with children and families in hospitals, group homes, and therapeutic settings, I specialize in supporting young children and adolescents. I have a unique expertise in treating individuals on the Autism Spectrum, as well as those with OCD, trichotillomania, and ADHD. Many people come to me for treatment using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold standard approach for treating OCD. I also feel deeply called to work with women who are experiencing perinatal anxiety and mood disorders related to pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.

I believe in creating a warm, open, and nonjudgmental space where healing is supported by a holistic, trauma-informed approach. My goal is to help clients build the tools they need to cope with life’s stressors in a compassionate, culturally sensitive environment. My style draws from a range of therapies—play therapy and expressive arts for children, and mindfulness, movement, and art for adults. I incorporate nature-based therapy and a mind-body approach to foster healing and coping for clients of all ages.

I graduated with a bachelor’s in Child Development from the University of Rhode Island and earned my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Dance Movement Therapy from Lesley University. I am a registered dance movement therapist (R-DMT) and a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts. My experience includes working at Bradley Hospital’s Pediatric OCD and Anxiety Clinic, as well as working as a certified child life specialist at Shriners Hospitals for Children, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Newton-Wellesley Hospital. I’ve also worked with the Department of Children and Families and at a domestic violence shelter.

Outside of owning Coastal, you’ll probably find me at the beach with my family and our Boston Terrier, Giuseppe—who’s convinced that chasing seagulls is his full-time job! ◡̈ I grew up as a ballerina, which deeply shaped my lifelong love of movement and creative expression. I’m a proud Swiftie who absolutely loves teaching creative movement and ballet to children of all ages. I’m also an avid reader of romance novels and have a soft spot for mermaids and all things pink!

I’m excited to get to know you and your family, and I’m honored that you’re considering Coastal Counseling Associates for your family’s mental health care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I have professional counseling experience working with children who are medically complex, older adults navigating dementia and Alzheimer’s, and individuals of all ages in between. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade owning and operating a dance studio for children and adults—a space full of movement, expression, and connection.

I’ve had the privilege of working with children, families, and adults with both physical and cognitive special needs, as well as neurotypical individuals. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and mood disorders, and I especially enjoy supporting individuals experiencing perinatal and postpartum depression and anxiety. My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and rooted in compassion.

At the heart of my practice is a belief in the healing power of connection, joy, and meeting each client exactly where they are. I honor that every healing journey is unique, and I would be truly honored to walk alongside you. Our sessions might include breathwork, movement-based activities, art-making, coping strategies, and elements of dialectical and cognitive behavioral therapy—whatever best supports your growth and goals.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from UConn and my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance Movement Therapy from Lesley University. I am a registered dance movement therapist (R-DMT) and currently working toward board certification. I am also certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C). My background includes work in pediatric palliative care and clinical therapy roles in both partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I love spending time with my family and my wonderfully chatty cat, Doris. I’m a lifelong tap dance enthusiast and still enjoy teaching tap to adults and seniors. Kitchen dance parties are my favorite way to unwind and bring in joy!

I look forward to meeting you and watching you do amazing things.

I have experience supporting children who are medically complex, children and teens with complex trauma and behavioral or mental health needs, adults with disabilities, and elders in memory care. I am passionate about working with children, teens, and families through expressive arts, play, and meaningful conversation.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in an elementary school serving children from preschool through fifth grade, and as a dance instructor teaching students ages 2 through 18. These experiences continue to shape my approach and connection with clients of all ages.

I strive to create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and inclusive. My client-centered approach is grounded in the belief that every individual deserves to feel seen, heard, and empowered. I support clients in building understanding, developing coping tools, and finding their own sense of autonomy as they navigate life’s challenges. I use a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens, drawing from therapeutic frameworks including dance movement therapy, play therapy, art, and mindfulness.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Dance Performance from Rhode Island College, and my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance Movement Therapy from Lesley University. I am a registered dance movement therapist (R-DMT) currently working toward board certification. I have provided care in pediatric palliative settings and facilitated animal- and nature-based therapeutic groups with diverse clients.

Outside of work, I enjoy baking, crafting, reading, and taking scenic walks (usually ending with a coffee shop treat!). I love dancing and sharing the joy of movement and creativity with others.

I’m so glad you’re here, and I look forward to getting to know you!

Drawing from both expressive arts and clinical mental health counseling, I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, creativity, and evidence-based care.

I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance Movement Therapy from Lesley University, as well as dual bachelor’s degrees in Business and Dance from Springfield College. My clinical experience is rooted in trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices, and I have spent over a decade working across schools, residential treatment centers, community mental health clinics, and hospital-based programs.

I specialize in supporting children and teens struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and neurodivergent needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. I am trained in motivational interviewing and evidence-based approaches such as TF-CBT and SMART (Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment). My therapeutic style is warm, relational, and strength-based, grounded in the belief that healing happens when clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported. I often help children and families build emotional regulation skills, strengthen self-esteem, and develop tools for resilience during times of stress, transition, or identity exploration.

A unique part of my approach is integrating creative and movement-based therapies. As a lifelong dancer and choreographer, I know how powerful movement can be in helping clients reconnect with their bodies, express emotions, and build confidence. I love weaving dance, yoga, mindfulness, and expressive arts into therapy to explore feelings that may be difficult to put into words. My years of teaching ballet, lyrical, jazz, acro, and contemporary dance to children and teens also shape the structure, playfulness, and passion I bring to my clinical work.

Outside of the therapy room and dance studio, you can usually find me spending time with my dog, Grizzly, crafting, or enjoying life with my family. I am a proud advocate of the mind-body connection, a believer in the healing power of play and creativity, and a dedicated supporter of clients of all identities and abilities.

Clients often come to me feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck. My style is warm, trauma-informed, and collaborative—with a healthy dose of humor. I incorporate creative and movement-based approaches like art, drama, writing, and music, while always centering the client’s voice, autonomy, and sense of safety.

I hold a bachelor’s in Expressive Arts Therapy and a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University, with a specialization in Dance Movement Therapy. I’m a registered dance movement therapist (R-DMT) working toward board certification, and my clinical experience spans community mental health, family therapy, and diagnostic work with individuals across the lifespan.

Outside of the therapy room, I’m a lifelong dancer who currently loves country line dancing. I’m also a devoted Twi-hard and Potterhead, and I could talk for hours about Friends, Gilmore Girls, or Grey’s Anatomy. I’m happiest curled up with a good book or getting way too invested in cooking competitions.

I’m truly excited to begin this journey with you and honored to be a part of your healing and growth!
